Welcome once again to The Brownbag, your perfectly portioned take-away of culture, events and opinions from New York City and beyond. The Spring issue marks two years in the business, and it is thanks to our loyal readers that we continue to grow with every publication. This issue we are serving up some "white bread" in the form of Mark Alpert's comic strip, and find out what it's like to be "Girl" in a traditional Indian family. As usual we delve into the political world, commenting on the dubious behavior of some of our elected officials, and with the General Election now just months away we look back on some of the fiercest contests in history.
