Noel Agnew - Editor in Chief Noel stepped up in 2007 from his position as Assistant Editor to take the reins of the Brownbag Magazine. He has recently completed a second Masters degree, in Library Science at CUNY. Along with contributing articles, he is also comitted to ensuring the integrity of the Brownbag's content.

Mery Diaz - Managing Editor As Founder of the Brownbag, Mery has taken on the role of Managing Editor, supervising the preparation of articles. She is currently involved in a variety of creative ventures, including overseeing WHCAP, a non profit organization commited to bringing arts to urban areas.

Deepti Paul - Art Director As Co-founder of Brownscape Productions, Deepti is continually involved in many different aspects of BP including Art Director for the Brownbag Magazine. She made her feature film directorial debut with “Made in India?” and is currently involved in two other film projects.

Sudha Narasimhan - Staff Writer Sudha is a staff writer for The Brownbag Magazine, sharing her experiences and observations of life in NYC as a South Asian filmmaker & Brownscape co-founder. She is currently involved in a film project called "Browntown".

Clarissa Gomez - Contributing Writer Clarissa Gomez Esq., of Dominican descent, was born and raised in Washington Heights and is the proud mother of an eight-year old drama queen named Gabriella. She is currently a housing Staff Attorney at the Harlem Community Law Office of the Legal Aid Society where she provides free legal services for underserved populations facing eviction. Given her performing arts background and appreciation for the Arts, Clarissa is also the co-founder of D-aRts Youth Café, Inc. in Washington Heights and Inwood.
