Made in India? Update
Made in India? is on sale as hi and low resolution download through
B-Side.com. B-side.com is an independent distributor dedicated to helping filmmakers find their own audience. Through B-side we are able to sell DVDs and DRM-free downloads, for $2.99 and $7.99. Through B-Side’s partners we are hopeful of distributing to TV, VOD, online and offline retail. We are excited to maximize the possibilities of new media to disseminate our content.

Made in India? was incorporated as part of the summer orientation curiculum for incoming freshmen to the SEEK program at City College. It is part of a discussion around identity, family and self awareness.

Made in India?  has reached an international audience, and is being used as curriculum in a high school in Germany!  Elaine Hagebölling, a teacher at Niedersaechsisches Internatsgymnasium Esens in Norden, northern Germany, requested permission to screen the film to give her class a different perspective on arranged marriages. Brownscape hopes to continue to make connections across the globe.

Brownscape Members to work with Habitat for Humanity
Thanks to some excellent fund raising, Deepti, Mery and 13 others are headed to New Orleans to help build houses with Habitat for Humanity. They will live and work with H4H for a week, and also plan to film the goings on.
